Mariusz Pudzianowski has been competing in strength sports since he was 16 when he entered his birst bench press competition where he bench pressed 160kg! Within two years he had already increased his bench press to over 205kg.He competed in his first strongman competition in 1999 but it wasn't until 2001 that he became known when he finished 4th in the worlds strongest man competition. Mariusz then returned to become the strongest man in the world in 2002 and 2003.
Mariusz Pudzianowski won the 2003 competition by a record margin. His huge muscular strength, power and endurance proving to tough for his competitiors.
Mariusz Pudzianowski is well loved in his home country of Poland and is considered a national hero for his achievements in strongman, bodybuilding, boxing and powerlifting.
