Earth Hour 2011
Earth Hour 2011 will take place on March 26, 2011. In Israel, the hour was held on March 24.The participating channels in the Philippines, ABS-CBN will cease transmission during lights out and Cartoon Network will halt transmissions during lights out.
YouTube promoted the Earth Hour by changing its logo, and by adding a switch on/off feature near the title of each video, so that users can change the background color from white to black.
